It was great to be invited to the Storting to exhibit jewelry. Mostly because I was one of 20 Norwegian jewelry designers who qualified in a selection where many wanted to participate. It’s a good feeling to be recognized for something you’ve worked hard for.
The exhibition took place on 5.9.17, it was organized by NAJD (Norwegian Assosiation of Jewelery Designers).

It’s a nice building. The Parliament. Tall halls with art and chandeliers, endless many stairs and corridors with countless doors. I know, because I got lost there several times. Most politicians were on tour and the building was quiet. Like a fantasy castle. In fact, I can understand that many argue incredibly much to get that house as a workplace.
The exhibition took place in the building’s top floor overlooking the Storting roof and the capital. The invited were a few guests, media, jewellery industry people and politicians.

For me, it was amazing to see other Norwegian jewelry designers work and get to know my colleagues whom I rarely meet.
When successful jewelry designers gather together, the artistic expression is in high quality and varied. Most have spent many years refining their own design language and perfecting it. An amazing exhibition that I really wish many more could take part in.
The new Forest collection was in use this day. Tiara is not just for weddings and princesses. They are perfect for all everyday queens with a sense of taste in style.
Thank you for a wonderful day, NAJD, nice co-exhibitors and eminent guests who shared the day with us!
